Stupid AVI files

anybody know of a free program that will convert AVI files over to DVD files or some other format that easily burns to DVDs??

The only program I know of is SUPER. You can convert the video into any format you want and. It gives you all the options you would need like adjusting the aspect ratio, frames per second, and the kpbs. I think it goes past 8000 kbps if I remember correctly.

try DVD flick, pretty basic but it is free, also has imgburn with it as well
