Here are a couple of albums of interest released today:

Wicked Lake soundtrack - There’s a new Ministry song on here (a TLS leftover, I’m guessing) and an instrumental mix of “Khyber Pass”. Also a bunch of other stuff you may or may not care about.

The Fireman - Electric Arguments - Paul McCartney of The Beatles vs. Youth of Killing Joke. Their previous albums together were apparently ambient (I haven’t heard them) but this one supposedly has a dark pop/rock sound. Should be worth a listen, at least.

there’s a preview of cuz u r next on their myspace, it’s very similar to let’s go. wouldn’t mind hearing the instrumental of khyber pass.

Listening now - turns out Khyber Pass (Wicked Instrumental) is not instrumental at all. It’s a remix that starts out swirly and ambient, then becomes more of a dance thing, but both Al’s lyrics and the faux-Islamic chanting are still there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cuz UR Next was an alternate version of Let’s Go, and they picked Let’s Go as a better opener for TLS. Sounds like Josh is on vocals for some of it, too.

shame about the instrumental. so it’s another remix that’s probably going to surface of TLS remix album.

I’d never heard of Fireman, what an odd combo. I may have to check that out.

It’s a surprisingly good album.

I ended up picking up all the stuff on your list. The Ministry tracks are pretty good. The Khyber Pass remix is, IMO, much better than the original and Cuz UR Next sounds like an above average cut off “The Last Sucker”

The Fireman album is really nice! It’s at its best when it’s pure psychedelia. There’s a pastoral sound to it I wasn’t expecting. I like the Beatles pretty well but have never followed McCartney. This is much better than I expected.
