Stabbing Westward covers Ministry

I just checked out their new cover ep a few minutes ago, I’m not a huge Stabbing Westward fan, I only know a few of their songs really, but this is listenable for me.

That version is pretty cool. I liked how they tied riffs from Effigy into it.

Very cool!! I saw Stabbing Westward open for Depeche Mode twice in the 90s (if I recall correctly). Didn’t know they were back together.

Good cover, and the Cure cover is dynamite!

Stabbing Westward is easily my favorite of the 90s “industrial” acts that cropped up in the wake of Ministry and NIN. Come on, admit it, we all have one we like… God Lives Underwater, Gravity Kills, Static-X, etc.

The new EP is pretty great, tho

I like both Stabbing Westward and Static-X, but I am ashamed to admit it here

Hey, we all have guilty pleasures. I’m a huge Kanye West fan.

The Effigy winks are great.
The Crow song remix is good too.

I think the only song by stabbing westward I liked was “What Do I have to do.” I’ll check this cover out later. not in the mood to hear Ministry’s Halloween song again…

They killed it with this EP! The fact that you guys feel the need to apologize for liking 2000s era bands that are now 20 years old is…sad. You do realize that people who gatekeep others’ musical tastes are actually loser nerds, right?

Was never a SW fan beyond their one “hit”. Too whiny, too emo.

But with no shame, I will admit to loving the first GK album and first two S-X albums.
