XBOX 360 has the original TRON and the original Discs Of Tron ported over on their XBOX LIVE ARCADE. Aside from the mame Emulator I think this is the only system that Tron is availbale on. the playabilty is great. You can play the exact game that was available in the arcades OR you have the option to enhance the gaphics and the sound. you can play them online in Vs or Co-op mode It’s really impressive! PLUS, it’s only 400 points (the equivelent of five bucks) the achievements for them are insanely hard! clear all of the grid bugs on level 1 (can’t it even be done?) I hope they make that old Taito game “Front Line” available. anybody else on Xbox live? They have Russian Attack as well as Cyber Ball 2072!!! I cant get past the tanks on level 3, which is weird cause I used to be able to do that on mame!!!

TRON the game, eh? Unfortunately I missed that one but that just sounds like it would be fucking fun! Unfortunately I would have to invest in an HD television upgrade to even enjoy the full effect of the 360.
Got a gameboy advance that I play at work now and then, kinda dope, the system and games are pretty cheap now and you can play new editions of some of those classic Nintendo platformers like Castlevania, Metroid, Zelda etc.
Kinda miss the 2D from time to time, but I love XBOX original for it’s shooters!
the rotary dial is definitely missed! but the other functions of the joy stick are a nice substitute(and even the missing rotary knob isn’t missed that much). but other than the hardware the game play is the same and MUCH easier than trying to play it through MAME on your keyboard. highly recommend you pick one up if you have the means! hopefully they put out an arcade controller that includes the rotary knob. I’d think they would have to if they are going to release games like arkanoid!(also you don’t need the HD tv to play the xbox although the picture is much nicer if your using the hdmi cable! but it’s just a perk and not a necessity)
