Nice find!
How does it sound? Tried finding it on youtube but all that came up was the video for Stowaway and other songs from CC

Hasn’t shown up yet. But you can find it on you tube. Search for the actual track name can’t remember the name of it something about the woman killer or something.

Still can’t find it but I did find the song July which I guess appears on one of CC’s albums and on SFSJ. Hella sounds like Bowie
I paid $1 for my Swingin’ Junkies 7" a couple years ago at a record fair (it was in a box of random 7"s the seller was just trying to get rid of).

Cool! This is an actual cd though not a vinyl.
Eureka, ill try to look for the you tube of it. I heard it the other night, real cool vibe to it. Connelly’s vox were the main focus on the track with minimal guitar.

Oh, didn’t know they made any CDs of this. Maybe those are rarer.
One of the better later Wax Trax releases. Just Connelly and William Tucker on guitar doing accoustic versions of a few tracks. The cd has an extra track.
I found a clip of CC playing Heartburn with The Bells. If it’s all acoustic then I’m intrigued

It’s pretty cool here it is.
It’s not acoustic (at least this track) but cool none the less very minimal as I said before.

upon further review I think it has a tom waits feel to it.
Enjoy,

Actually that is acoustic. Totally not what I was expecting. If that’s junkie music I’m glad I’ve never done heroin. Not that it’s a bad song but it just doesn’t have a drug feel on an album called Songs For Swingin Junkies

about as acoustic as anything can be running through an amp. honestly it sounds electric, to me, on a clean setting no gain or effects pedals.
totally feels drugged out to me but whatev.

Well there is such thing as an acoustic electric. In other words it’s an acoustic that has a switch to give it a bit of an electric sound. But that’s my opinion
Found this at a Goodwill for three bucks a couple years back. Good times.
Weird, I just bought the 7" (blue vinyl) at Reckless over the weekend. Signed by Chris, too. $6.99!

Dude it’s got a TVT logo on it!! is this a second pressing? or was WAX TRAX! already bought out by then?
I know it’s 3 tracks but it really just feels like one long song. totally dig the lyrics to July! haven’t listened to the single yet but really like the version on Swinging Junkies. Really like the Swingin Junkies, very moody love it!
