I’ve only got about a week between summer school and normal school so I’ve been spending my “vacation” doing a lot of yard work sweating balls in 100+ degree heat before noon. A lot of weeds a lot of weed infested dirt. So, needless to say the trash bags are heavy. So, for the last 3-4 days I’ve been loading up the back of my truck. I haven’t really had any reason to drive my truck cause if I’m not filling up bags with landscaping stuff then I’m in the house trying to cool off.

So, today I’m pretty much finished with the front yard. I’ve got a ton of crap ready drop off at the burtech recycling center and I get in my truck turn the key. It starts up fine but dash lights up all red and shit with warnings.

I look at my gauges, I have no gas and my gas light is on. I shut the truck off, dive under the truck to find some fucking peice of shit cocksucker has cut the fillerneck hose on my truck and siphoned off every last ounce of gas out of my truck. I had a full tank so they got away with about 75$ worth of gas.

Even worse the filler neck hoses don’t come in generics, you either have to get them from the junkyard or from the toyota dealer. 50$ that fucking hose ran me. So, now I’m at 125$ these fuckers stole from me and now I’ve still yet to tack on the labor that goes with attaching the thing. So these fuckers stole around 200$ from me.

I’ve had a previous truck broken into twice and a thunderbird super coup stolen. I’m so fucking pissed! I’m pricing surveilance cameras and going to add one of those to our home security.

I’m pretty sure I know who did it, we just (a couple months back) had a shitty low rent family move in a few doors down. The daughter drives a shitbox (looks and sound) car. Their presence it totally degrading the neighborhood. Their garbage is piled on the side of their house. They’ve got and old soquia that’s on rims but is missing windows and has a broken door handle. They are up all hours of the night… so fucking pissed!

It’s crazy what these piece-of-crap tweaker bastards will steal nowadays.

I was driving off a construction lot on day and had my entire muffler assembly with catalytic converters attached fall off my car and lay on the ground. I had to get a 30 mile tow and was screwed to the tune of almost $2K. Turns out there’s small bits of platinum in the converters which the thieves can get out, so some creeps had apparently not quite completed the job of dismantling the bottom of my car (the stuff was all just laying up there unbolted and when I hit a small bump it just all dropped out).

And at my factory . . . There was a large exposed copper pipe on the outside of the building. Some dumbasses had tried to hack it off with a giant axe or something and failed because IT WAS A WATER MAIN. So, they didn’t get their 10 dollars worth of copper pipe, but they did cause all our offices to be flooded over the weekend so that it caused floor, wall, and furniture damage to the tune of about $70,000.

Oh, and since we’re on the topic of lowlife, piece-of-crap, motherf***ing, genetic defect, waste-of-oxygen, country-destroying a-holes, let me give a hearty shoutout to the specimen that crashed into my wife on the freeway and only gave a phone number before speeding off with his hoochie mama slutwhore — yeah, he won’t answer our (or the insurance company’s) phone calls or texts (been 5 days) and so since we have no information on the guy we, at a MINIMUM, will be out the 500 deductible to repair the rear bumper.

I know I’ve had some good conversations with Davelybob about this, but let me just make it clear . . . I HATE THIEVES! They are completely unworthy of respect as human beings and I honestly don’t care if we used a system more physical and to the point like old school Saudi Arabia. Bastards steal one time, cut off a hand. Try it again, cut off their other hand. And if they still haven’t gotten the message and try to steal with their stumpy knobs, cut off their entire arms, drop 'em in the middle of the ocean, and watch their stupid limbless torsos try to dolphin kick their way to the shore 1000 miles away and race great white sharks. They are cowardly parasites and I strongly support the most brutal punishment available.

I absolutely detest thieves. I live in the high desert where we have a tweeker problem. (Yeah its almost as bad as a meth lab on every corner) And tweekers steal anything not bolted down or have 42 locks on it.

Btw the garage called its going to be 75$ in labor but they are pretty sure they won’t have to drop the tank to repair the damage. So 200$ over all damage.

I was looking at shit on line and I’ve learned it’s more than likely a neighbor because it takes a really loooooooooong time to siphon anything so some casual bypasser probably doesn’t have the time for that kinda shit.

srmfy, that completely sucks. They do that here too with gas tanks for van pool vans that are parked at the park-and-ride, newly installed copper wire, home and industrial air conditioning units for the copper, etc. Not too long ago, there was a sophisticated gas siphoning op here that used a modified for heavy cargo minivan to pull the gas directly from the underground tanks at the gas stations.

Provided your city has it, can your local code enforcement go after your neighbors for the outside the house pile up?

My truck has a locking gas door but it didn’t matter cause they went underneath the car cut the hose and siphoned it out of the cut hose. yeah we may have to start pulling our cars in at night if the surveillance ends up being stupid expensive

Yeah, we have code enforcement. I may call if it starts to get beyond really bad but looking at the houses around it I’m sure they will call well before me.

How so? I have nothing against the poor. You can be poor and still have ethics and standards. sorry to hear grmps, i loathe thieves as well, and i think the worst part about getting something stolen is that you really dont have any course of vengeance. even if you HAD surveillance, would it really help? the feeling of rage that can be directed nowhere is what REALLY gets me during times like yours.
