HAHAHAHA!!! Are they playing at a High School dance or something?
And what’s up with Colonel Sanders crashing the stage? And The Great Cornholio on vocals?
They really don’t sound too bad, in my opinion, but it kind of hurts to watch . . . especially the audience. Was the Brokencyde gig sold out or something?
It’s Josh and Sin. Can’t tell if Clayton’s there or not, because I don’t remember what he looks like.
I don’t know how these guys expect to get a following if they have so many different project names. Even if you don’t count Revolting Cocks, they’ve performed and recorded as Stayte, Simple Shelter, VHS, The Total Phuken Muncho, Captain Bigshot, and now Great American.
Pick a name and stick with it and maybe you can build an audience.
Playing with his shirt like that was just . . . dumb. And it makes him look like he’s bored up there.
I like this cover allright, and I think Josh can be a decent frontman . . . even though I’ve never liked any of their original material (based on what I’ve heard).
Also agreed on the name changing. Of all those, “STAYTE” actually sounds catchy and marketable.

Totally agree. The music sounds virtually the same for all of those bands. Hate to say it… none of it is anything special. It really isn’t.
I think RevCo was their ‘big break’, but… well… yeah. [:/]
I’m amazed they’re doing a ministry cover as well after all the shit… [sly]
Actually saw a Simple Shelter show once. It was just Josh & a guitar playing with a backing tape. He was wearing all white while standing in front of a projection screen so that he could blend in with the video accompaniment to his songs. (I thought it was kinda cool, but I’m sure many would think it was lame). That being said, I enjoy this project a lot more than anything he ever did with Stayte or Revco.
He gave the wife and I that cd at the cu latour and said it was very spiritual without being religious but he also said he was getting booked at churches with it.
The wife really dug it. I didn’t dislike it
