So now Al's remixxxing old RevCo songs

I guess we shouldn’t complain it’s free.

BTW, notice that he didn’t bother to release a remix of “Get Up Get Out And Vote”…

EDIT: It’s actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I was expecting more lame-ass dubstep. And it appears he’s using the original Chris Connelly vocal tracks and not re-records by himself or whatever vocalist he’s pretending to be bffs with today.

I think Angie shares a songwriting credit on this one, that’s probably why it was left off.

Yeah, I actually like this mix.

I figured - I just find it amusing.

Speaking of remixes, I wonder if now that Sin and Al are pals again, they’ll ever release those classic Ministry mixes that Sin was doing live?

I like this Stainless Steel Providers one okay. I think it’s funky and weird enough to make it worth a listen as a creatively viable “remixxx”, but it retains enough of the original groove to keep it grounded. Not something I’d spin all the time, but I gave Sammy his props for it.

All in all I don’t really care for any of the remixxxes (except for the one of “Relapse” that was on the disc), but if they’re free I give 'em a sample listen.

I’m tired of the REMIXXES honestly. I would rather have demos, unreleased songs and interesting live tracks.

It was okay…Chris’ voice rules!

Frontline Assembly Armageddon ripoff.

Pailhead remix this week.

I like it.

I will refuse to listen to that.

I was ambivalent about the Cocks remix, but the Pailhead remix is atrocious. In my humble, unsolicited opinion. Or, in other words…don’t stand in line for it.

LOL…I agree.

Yeah, Pailhead doesn’t lend itself to remixing. It’s not that kind of music.

ugh. it all sounds flat and generic.

lol he’s remixing Dark Side tracks now:

Better than Pailhead.

Yeah but that’s kinda like saying the shit that I took yesterday is better than the shit I took today…

I actually kinda dig the bad blood remix. That synthy/keyboard-stringy part around 1:24 reminds a little of Nature of Love. Far more interesting than the Pailhead mix, but don’t really remember what the RevCo mix sounded like anymore…which kinda says it all.

Notice that he surgically removed Ty Coon’s bit from that song…

This week’s is an unreleased song from the With Sympathy era.

WTF?
