Hey gang -

For anyone who follows my blatherings on here, this is going to be my last post for the foreseeable future.

This doesn’t have anything to do with any of the recent board shenanigans, nor with me getting offended over any previous posts, nor with issues with any other users. On the contrary I’ve miraculously enjoyed good relations with everyone here, with a minimum of personality compromise.

Things are, as a whole, not very good in my life now, and a lot of situations require my immediate attention before i can even consider taking more time out for the goofy entertainment that this board does provide.

I guess accounts are not delete-able, so you can send personal messages if you want to talk further about anything. For the moment though, I’m done with publicly viewable communications.

Hey gang -

just poking my head in here for a moment, with a quick update.

Am now in the “selling off anything of value” phase that I have to go through seemingly every couple of years.

I have a few good records for sale, which I’m guessing steer more towards the Peligro / Queer Bait end of the taste spectrum. PM me and I will send you a list of what I have, and you can make whatever reasonable offers you like.

I also have some sound studio equipment that, in my present state of slimming down my belongings to a couple of flight cases, is pretty much useless to me now but probably of some worth to others. I have a few rackmount items, some ribbon / condenser mics, an Alesis Ion synth and an original Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 which - though I can’t get it to function - is likely repairable.

Is sad to see this stuff go, but, fuck it - I have always been more of a restless nomad than a collector, and it’s time to move on from the pipe dream of being a successful musician / DJ / whatever. When it is the third time in the course of a decade that I’ve had to abandon ship like this, it’s a pretty clear message for me to drastically change my approach to life…
