So. CA Party Crew --- Ministry May 11 2015

Gunnar, can you help the rest of us out and tell us who is who in a couple of the photos?

I recognize you, smrfy, and Ron, but I’m not sure of Sean, Acid, or anyone else.

Sean is standing on the left with the zip up sweatshirt.

By the way, we totally don’t look drunk. Ahem.

Oh, no. Not at all.

It’s funny, too, because, although I didn’t post them in any particular order, you can kind of see a progression . . . . when we just got back from the show as a whole group we are still pretty put together and alert. When it was just down to you, me, and Ron . . . . yeah, we’re pretty wasted, hahaha!!!

I found some in my phone the other day, and I was going to post them, but they’re pretty much the same as a few of these.

I’m still not sure who a couple of these people are…

whos the queer with the bandana.

whos the queer with the bandana.

That’s me!
I’m the queer!

happy trails with you guys i see.looked like a great time.

had so much fun that night…it’s rare that I smile in pics!

I don’t see any conga lines happening.

Please tell me at some point there was a conga line.

Also…Grmpy has a nu-Ministry logo on his leg! Among other things…that I can’t make out from here.

Nu ministry logo is the A in Al’s name when I asked him to sign my leg then had it tatooed.
one of the other tats is Slash’s signature along with the top hatted jolly roger he drew when I met him and asked him to sign my leg and had it tattooed.

the difference between the two…
Me: Hey, man, if you sign my leg I will get it tatooed.
Slash: Chuckling No way, man, I couldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.
Me: no, you totally could. I already shaved my leg in expectation of this.
Slash: chuckled if you’re set on it, let me finish signing these other autographs and I’ll do it at the end.
Me: Meet you again in five minutes?! sure. ok.
5 minutes later
Slash: so, what you just want me to sign?
Me: well, your signature for sure, but if you wanna write or draw anything else help yourself. That top hatted jolly roger would be ok
Slash: ok
2 minutes later art work complete.

Then a couple years later.

Me: Hey, man, if you sign my leg I will…
Jourgensen: already grabbing a sharpie Show me where
Me: get it… tat…toed.

Slash Humble as hell. Jourgensen playing the rock god part. Don’t regret either.
I have Harley Quinn on one side of my leg and a dragon on the other. Not really into dragons but I had Harley Quinn and Slash on one leg and Just Al on the other. so I felt lopsided and grabbed some flash off the wall to balance it out…

I used to write MOM and draw anchors on my arms when I used to go to clubs 15 years ago.

I live where it gets really hot. Pants when its hot is normal and doable long sleeves when its 115 out, sucks. No upper body tats for me.

Have you ever had any issues with the ink rising/swelling when it gets hot outside?

For as hot and muggy as it is here, me either. Also no issues with the color red.
I was curious due to a friend recently inquiring about what to do to take down the swelling.

Swelling? maybe he is allergic to the ink?

That’s what I thought at first, but it’s not a new or even recent addition.
He said it happens pretty much every time it starts to get warm outside.
I’m thinking it may be location - arm/shoulder.
Mine are on my ribs to hips (yours are on your legs), neither are really sweaty/oily areas.

I’ve heard of people having trouble with red ink. I dunno. I’ve got one tattoo and it’s black.
