Saw them last night at a small bar for an awesome dudes birthday.
great show, great sound, even played some awesome versions of Drug Against War and an especially awesome version of Godlike. i’m not sure if gunther schultz doesn’t know much english or i was just too drunk to communicate properly. (mebbe both)
I have always liked en esch’s low warbling more than ray watts. if anyone has a chance to check this show out, it’s really great.
Did they play any of the new material? Their new album, Sucksess, is pretty damned good. Possibly their best. I would say the best thing those two did since Adios, but I enjoyed the Mona Mur album. Very good though. Seems a bit more Esch this time around than a duo, but there’s still some guitar.

yeah they played a few songs off it. i was pretty broke so i wasn’t able to pick up the new cd. they played alot of stuff but i’m terrible at remembering this tuype of stuff if i am drinking heavily, which i was, so …yeah.
it was awesome, and i recommend anyone able to catch them to do so.
