What do people think? Suggestions? It only took a few of hours so a lot left to do.
the only small problem I have is the banner without Paul, I know that Ministry IS Al, but… we are too much here to like the input of Paul and of Rieflin, Connelly… maybe the banner should not include a picture of Al.

Interesting - I had asked the person who did the banner originally just yesterday to make one without anyone’s picture - just the graphic… So that’ll be coming this weekend sometime.

the banner has been up a long time, i’m surprised at the sudden cry against it.
personally i like the layout for the site a bit… umm, dirty? Ministry doesn’t bring ‘slick, polished’ to mind.
it’s one thing i liked about the banner is the dirty rust feel.

It looks really great Afra! i do agree with Jizzwad, maybe put a landscape but more like a desert scene or something because the band besides Al is kind of a revolving door these days. Either way it looks very smart! Good work as per usual sir!

the header just doesn’t stylistically fit with the rest of the page design. Need something that suits your colour scheme, and your choice of things like fonts n that.

Can anyone post a screenshot of this on IE6? I’m on a Mac but seen it’s fine in Firefox, Safari and IE7 (doesn’t seem wide). Wondering if it’s IE6?

I hope it’s not too late but may I suggest using one of the older Ministry logos/fonts for the banner. I truly hate the newer Anarchy/Peace Ministry logo as it is just so damn juvenile, not to mention pretty fucking ghey!
I suggest the classic boldface all cap MINISTRY logo that they used in the mid-late 90’s. That logo was simple, effective and it commanded respect. Perhaps users could vote on a logo. Please please please don’t use the lame new logo!!!

I just sent you some more banners, with varying Ministry logos. Forgot to mention in the email that I used the ‘yellow’ text color for a couple of them. Gonna work on a couple of ‘dirtier’ banners, too.
