The debut from Jesu was absolutely phenomenal. It was dead fucking serious from the very first minute to the very last. No games whatsoever. It also sounded very original from everything else I have heard from this point. Something about roaring, stranged-out, sludgy, right-in-the-eye guitars and emotion that really had me rooting for Broadrick even more.
I loved his collaboration with Alec Empire as Curse Of The Golden Vampire, his stint as Techno Animal with the Re-Entry (“The Mighty Atom Smasher” is so damn ill) and Brotherhood of the Bomb albums and his credibility in the cassette scenes and Napalm Death makes Broadrick a true original and I stand by him %100.

Cool! cause I just spent 25 bucks on Pale Sketches from the avalanche site. I don’t want to get something along the lines of S/T out of Pale Sketches.
I would certainly through down 25 bucks for Silver though, but seeing as how I paid, like, 6 bucks for Silver I can justify spending 25 on Pale Sketches. That way if Pale Sketches isn’t that great I can pretend I only paid 6 bucks for it while thinking I paid 25 For Silver. That’s my rational, anyway.
No online stores had it and Best Buy didn’t even have a placard for Jesu. So I figured what the hell and ordered one of the last 40 left.
So If you rank Pale Sketches just below Silver I’m expecting good things there Jizzy. I’m putting 25 bucks on your past reviews!!! That’s a big load to bear!
