Anyone know where I can find a stereo version of Sidetrax to download. I bought the damn mono version and just torrented a copy that turned out to be mono too. Even the version on iTunes was mono back when they had it and I want remastered versions in stereo!

I bought it on cd when it came out, there was a notice (on this site or old ministry website) to contact I think Rykodisc and give them your address and they sent me a nice shiny stereo cd pretty quickly. The cds have a number 5 or S with a box or circle around it - the mono version has it in dark red while the stereo cd has it in a maroon colour so there’s a visual difference on the cds too. This is all from memory anyway.
Try getting in touch with Rykodisc about the cd, maybe after this time they’ll ask you send the mono one back so worth a try!
It’s an essential Ministry-related cd and sounds 100x better in stereo!
After reading again realised you want digital copy. dunno about that but get the cd and copy it digitally if you cant find it i suppose.
Surely somebody has a digital copy they can just put on Rapidshare for the guy. I’ve got all the tracks on the various original releases, so it would be a pain in the ass for me to get them all together, but I can if nobody else can help.
I would contact Ryko first before anything, simply because if bought new I wouldn’t want to be screwed out of a proper product. If used, well…then I would probably resort to getting it anywhere
i bought mine new…but off a reseller on amazon, and that was a LONG time ago. i doubt they’d refund me?
OP, where did you buy your initial copy from? I want to pick this up from Amazon, but I’m not sure if they are selling the re-pressed version or not.
You never know. I bought a used copy of a Death In June CD many years ago that had the disc rot problem that a lot of World Serpent releases at the time had, and the manufacturer still sent me a replacement disc.

Dark red vs. maroon? That’s not going to be particularly obvious if you only have one copy. 
Are there any moments on the CD where the stereo is really obvious (like a sound panning entirely to one side?) I think mine is the stereo version, but I have it playing now on one of those CD players with the flashing lights for speaker activity, and both sides look approximately the same. I bought it in late 2005, probably.
I have both versions. I actually didn’t realize it was mono until someone here mentioned it. I contacted Ryko and they sent me the stereo version. The numbers on the cd tell which is which. Here’s mine in Stereo:

The original mono pressing has the digits A4 P2 310690-2 01 on the back, while the corrected stereo version has the digits A4 P2 310690-2 RE-1 01.
So mine is the mono version.
Yeah, the tell is the RE-1 abbrev.
yup…i also have the mono version -_-. ANYONE out there willing to hook up the stereo? i can’t believe i’ve never heard those tracks in stereo :P. ridiculous. it would be GREATLY appreciated!
