btw about homo djs. am i the only one who doen’t like supernaut and especially hey asshole? apathy and better ways are awesome, but the other two are very meh.
The ‘cop’ dialogue in Asshole makes me laugh, but the song’s too noisy to enjoy on a regular basis. Supernaut, yeah, I really have to be in the mood for that one. Nice industrial-rock rhythm and cool vocals, but it annoys me for some reason, can’t put my finger on it.
Some of the opinions in this thread are rank. The song “Test” is a fucking abortion. Period.
“What About Us?” sounds nothing like TMIATTTT. The song structure is too complex and that awful cunt Ty Coon is on it.
I love this song. Sounds exactly like what it is: a track bridging the sonic difference between Dark Side and Animositisomina.
“Supernaut” is an awesome track. The version on Greatest Fits is by far the superior one. Ditto with “So What”.
“Brick Windows” fucking rules. Light at the end of the tunnel is right. Worst track on Filth Pig is either “Useless”, “Lay Lady Lay” or “The Fall”.
“Useless” is too nasally with the vocals and the “bridge” consists of one dissonant note.
“Lay Lady Lay” is out of place and is kind of hokey. This one would get my vote to remove from the album altogether. Yeah it was a single, but what did it get them? Three new fans?
Ultimately “Lay Lady Lay” should have been replaced with “Paisley” and you have a more solid album.
Oh, and Ministry has never had an album without one shitty track or at least one that detracts from the album as a whole except possibly LORAH.
Overruled![:)] (especially on Lay lady Lay and the fall) To me Lay lady lay is the light at the end of the tunnel…Still a heavy tune but with a bright message.

I immediately got into Hey Asshole. Supernaut isn’t a bad song, but not something i’d rave about either. I’ve always kinda been whatever about 1000 Homo DJs to be honest.
