Sascha's thoughts on Paul

Talking about new KMFDM vs Old KMFDM"

isn’t it funny that he bemoans how poor en and sparky are not in KMFDM anymore ?

it’s been over 8 (!) eight straight years now…

has it ever occurred to anyone that laziness may play a role in it ?
since the “breaking up” of KMFDM i made at least 9 full-length albums, plus singles/ep’s/dvd’s AND have toured more than in the “old” KMFDM years altogether…

on the other hand for instance, nobody seems to care and take poor old Paul Barkers side, who was shafted by uncle al, and really has a hard time getting his dues out that situation.

Black text on black backround = big no no.

There are definitely people here who give Mr. Paul his due. Some would say too much.

Source? Context?

I definitely give Paul Barker his due musically…

For the most part I feel that Ministry is derivative, mediocre, and frustrating without him.

Didn’t know he was getting screwed financially as well…sounds like what Sascha meant was that Barker is getting shafted on royalties etc. for Ministry music since Uncle Al seems to love taking the credit for everything that goes on in a recording process…

For the most part I feel that Ministry is derivative, mediocre, and frustrating without him.

I wouldn’t go this far… But, I would say his presence is easily recognized as not there. which in my opinion lends itself to a different style of music. although I would still categorise it as still industrial. (I’m sure I’ll take heat for that). Kinda like the difference between Guns N Roses and Metallica. Both Heavy Metal or hard Rock whatever you want call it. But both equally different but Both still rock pretty hard; Even though one group has slash and can’t be beat . (I HAD NO OTHER METAPHOR TO USE GET OFF ME -this is what is known in W land as a Preemptive strike to silence my critics)
