Santos Party House in NYC (a shithole little club owned by Andrew WK) was shut down tonight, seemingly for good, either because they don’t want to renew their lease or because they hosted a neo-Nazi event, depending on who you ask.
My point is that the Cocks were supposed to play there in September. Let’s leave this thread open in case I (or any of you) hear any news as to where the show is being relocated, if it is at all. Thanks.

Santos wasn’t that bad. The sound system was good. AWK is good. I believe the lease rumors - but I believe less that the manager tried to “put a stop” to it once he heard of such a fest happening. Nigga please! If you’re already “losing money every day” at the venue, why didn’t you book better acts? Or at least not denied it were to still go on…
It’ll probably move to Knitting Factory or some other 5th-rate rathole shit club in Williamsburg/Bushwick
Santos’ events coordinator has said that all previously-planned events have been canceled, according to reports. At press time, it was unclear if Santos’ management intends to re-open the club at a different location.
