That Cult Of Youth track was interesting stuff.

Var started off interesting and quickly became horrible for me.

Zola Jesus is a name I’ve seen around for a few years. I have never heard her…that cut was nice enough. I assume her music varies as far as instrumentation goes?

The Hunt and Vex I’ve never heard before…they’re definitely of their time. I thought both were good…although I thought Vex were better than good…they were great. Both did make me want to dig out the 79-82 Killing Joke records.

The other young lady mentioned was very pleasant too…she reminded me of Smoke Fairies a little…pretty charming stuff.

Here’s a suggestion for you all:

LISTEN TO MORE BLACK METAL!

I’m on it, Bro!

It can vary. That album was recorded with JG Thirlwell doing strings. Here’s a track off her first album:

Forgot to check this out…I’ll try remember to after work.

Looks like they just put out a compilation of early deathrock obscurities that sounds interesting.

Ohhh, Akk Med, you know you like that video, quit salivating.

Pretentious gipster crap.

Gipster = Goth Hipster for those who aren’t in the know…

You would definitely know…

Hahaha

I fucked the bassist or drummer of Cult of Youth in the arse…don’t remember which…can’t be bothered to check.

Been there, done that. They are pretentious gipsters pretending to be wiccan Crowley disciples or some NeoFolk gay Nazi hobbit crap.

blah blah

As you were.

NeoFolk gay Nazi hobbit.

And behold…a new genre is born!

Saw Zola Jesus play live last night.
Amazing performance. If she comes to your town, go - this chick’s got the goods.

I saw Pharmakon and Zola Jesus last month (in different cities, not at the same show).
