Just saw Rodriguez live in Brisbane. Sweet show, never seen so many old people at a gig, and never seen so much love and respect on show for a musician. He is a stylish, stylish man and I suspect he could be an immortal. Beautiful old blues with that sweet 70’s mildly psychedelic guitar, and the keyboardist was rad, offering an almost Doors-ish vibe that you won’t find so much on the records. Rodriguez is great. This thread is mainly to let the other Australians on the board know that this tour has kicked off tonight, and that you had better go and see Jesus if you know whats good for you!
All the shirts sold out before the gig too, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen before.
