Joe Perry just put one out that I wanna check out. In fact, I missed his book signing last week cuz I was out in the woods. I dunno if anyone else on here ever liked Aerosmith at some point, but I always thought he was the bad ass of the group, even over Steven Tyler.
Any details from Steven Adler’s book that can be shared? Believe it or not, he’s the main reason I took up drums as a kid.
Billy Idol. Well, i have a friend who literally saved his life in the '90s. and he acted like a complete prick. But, he IS a rock star…you can never tell with those guys.

Adler’s book is pretty much “I fucked this chick, i did heroin, I fucked that chick, i got sacked, I fucked this chick, i had a stroke, I fucked that chick, i smoked crack”, but it’s a great read.
Right, he’s a full-on “dude” type from California ala Tommy Lee but he’s so loveable. He has his faults and isn’t at all shy to put blame on himself when it is due. It actually goes into some pretty serious detail about what the 90s were for him, which was a waste due to drugs and hard living.
Near the end of the book though is a hell of a twist.

Yeah, he seems a genuinely nice guy who ended up having major problems, sadly. A guy i know booked Adler’s Appetite to play once, but Adler got fucked up and didn’t make the show, surprise surprise.
