RIP Peter Christopherson

Go for the big 3: Scatology/Horse Rotorvator/Love’s Secret Domain. Those were the definite highlights of the band’s output and if you don’t “get” them, then there’s no sense in trying the rest. You’ll either be hooked or know that they’re not for you.

I was just about to ask for recommendations. I don’t think wikipedia has all the albums listed. I almost bought DOA earlier in the week just to take a chance on something new

I do say that almost anything you get, it’s all oil and vinegar. The great thing about them, and why most people find them innovative, is that no two releases sound the same. Kind of like Zappa.

I personally prefer Musick To Play In The Dark Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 - mostly because it’s great for all occasions. In my opinion.

Moon’s Milk In Four Phases is a good runnerup.

Thing about the wiki page. It lists MANY things, which is why I never knew where to start. I only skimmed, but it looked like they had a shit-ton of albums. Pretty overwhelming.

Incredibly sad news. Hard to believe he and Jhonn are gone. R.I.P.

1002

I knew Peter had directed a lot of videos over the years, several ones for Ministry including my fav ‘Over The Shoulder’, but I was not aware that he had done ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’ by Yes. That is certainly an iconic video.

Oh, jam. Another one bites the dust.

RIP

I’ve always loved this track . . . especially with the video, such a perfect piece of pure emotional artistry.

Best music video he ever directed:
