He was a member of the Psychedelic Furs, and did some terrific work on Die Warzau’s engine. But he’ll be best known by the board for laying down the killer spooky sax on Cannibal Song. Just saw that he died last week. He didn’t do much Ministry material, but it was definitely a very memorable contribution. really sad to hear about it.

Yeah I saw this last week on Stereogum…a real bummer…super talented musician…the stuff you mentioned is great but I would also mention his appearance on a great but more obscure album by Peter Brotzmann called The Chicago Octet/Tentet…Brotzman was an underground sax legend who was in experimental noise jazz legends Last Exit( with Bill Laswell,Sonny Sharrock and Ronald Shannon Jackson)…Brotzmann also died this year which was another great loss to music…

Damn, very sad news. He did some great work over the years. I’ll be spinning my Furs records in remembrance.
