And this is ministry related how! Or are you a firsty whore?
Well sorry for offending you. Obviously it’s not as closely related to Ministry as your threads, for instance Farmikos, whoever they may be, and the Human fucking shitty Centipede.
Big Trekkie here. Never got into TOS, but I did love the movies. Nothing like the original cast. Spock IS mister Star Trek.
RIP

Same here, i didn’t like the original series, but i did like the films. Spock’s death in II is a bit of a heartbreaker.
The original Star Trek is the ONLY Star Trek as far as I’m concerned. Spock was awesome. I’m sad to read this. He was 83, though, so his death wasn’t exactly . . . . wait for it . . . . let me apologize beforehand . . . . here it comes . . . illogical.
I remember him most fondly as the narrator of In Search Of.
I don’t normally miss too many actors when they pass on but I truly loved Leonard Nimoy and Star Trek in general. A sad day indeed.

Definitely. Respect!
Sad news…Spock is an iconic tv character and Nimoy was a great actor in general…
side note: I loved how weird and creepy he was in the Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake…

YES, YES, YES, YES,
Sad nimoy is gone [:(]
The original cast were like The Beatles. They have influenced the sci-fi community greatly and inspired many nerds to become pilots and tech geeks n shit.
TNG was a good follow up in the Trek universe too. The spinoffs DS9 and Voyager weren’t half bad either.
OG Trek was awesome. It was macho and badass, but at the same time very trailblazing and socially maverick. I mean the crew had . . . a black woman, a Russian, a Japanese dude (who we later find out is also gay).
They introduced political and social topics, but in a very universal way that didn’t feel so blunt and “after-school special” as some of the later versions of Trek.
But none of that stopped Kirk from doing what needed to be done . . . . going down to every planet in the Universe and banging every hot mini-skirted, gogo-booted space babe he could find.
Whenever they addressed social issues or political stuff in the Next Generation or beyond it just seemed so . . . GAY. Bunch of watery bullshit.
Anyway, back to Spock. Goodbye old friend.
Star Trek was & is awesome. I’m sad Spock is gone. Scotty too.
