RIP Arturo Vega

Hey Hey is Arty home?

I never could get into The Ramones.

The first time I heard them Was Rocket to Russia, I loved Joey’s voice. Johnny’s guitar took a few listens to have my ears stop hurting.

I never could get into The Ramones.

Could it be because you enjoy the taste of salty, sweaty dick and shit music?

That’s a very odd post…

nope…not much into punk.

I could never get into them either. They paved the way for a lot of bands and hipsters though. You go to the mall, and you’re bound to see some future douchebag wearing a Ramones shirt that he bought from Hot Topic. Oh, youth of america…

The Ramones were such a fantastic band. Just so great. Dee Dee was a hell of a songwriter. Granted, their mid-eighties material going forward was hit or miss, but I love them.

Also, I would be more upset about Winston Smith dying. Now THAT’S an art designer.

HAHAHA!!! I like the Ramones and Misfits, but sadly, for the aforementioned reasons, I could never wear either of those shirts. Ever.

Totally agreed. you know he never got paid for his DK designs… I read that in the oral history of punk.
