First time back in Edinburgh for two years and as usual Rezillos blow shit up BIG time!!! They absolutely rocked the house big time and were a real Christmas treat indeed. I got one video of them covering the classic Tina Turner tune “River Deep, Mountain High” which then goes into the Rezillos classic “Can’t Stand My Baby” which was ferocious!!! Put your headphones on when watching the video and witness the beauty of a rockin Rezillos live show!!!
They started the set with “Destination Venus” and ended it with “Somebodies Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight”…as you can imagine the crowd went bananas during the last tune. Actually the crowd was going bananas throughout due to Edinburgh being totally gay for Rezillos…a Rezillos gig in Edinburgh is ALWAYS rockin damn hard as it’s always a special home-coming show seeing as they’re an Edinburgh band and only play here once every one or two years.
They’ve just released a new single “Out Of This World” which I snagged and got signed by main man himself Eugene Reynolds…sadly Fae Fife wasn’t at the merch stand after the show so I couldn’t hassle her for a photo too! But anyway AWESOME show…
