As previously reported, MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen is currently working on remixes for an upcoming MINISTRY anthology, tentatively dubbed “Rantology”, due before the end of the year. In addition, the collection will feature a brand-new MINISTRY track called “The Great Satan”. Songs scheduled to be remixed for the upcoming set include “NWO”, “Bad Blood”, “No W”, “Stigmata”, “Jesus Built My Hotrod”, “Unsung” and “Bloodlines”.

REVOLTING COCKS’ current lineup includes Jourgensen alongside Phil “Phildo” Owen (SKATENIGS), John Monte (M.O.D., MIND FUNK, DRAGPIPE), Mike Scaccia (RIGOR MORTIS, MINISTRY) and Mark Baker (ex-FEAR, HELLIONS, SHADOW REICHENSTEIN).

Afra, John isn’t really still with Al…can you set the story straight? Also, is it Ministry, revco & spyder baby or just revco & SB.

This is awesome…I finally get to see Revco in action. I’m stroked!

cough europe sniff tour cough when? ahem!

I must assume a new RevCo will be out in early 2006. Now were talkin’.

I’m not sure I totally understand the point of having Ministry and RevCo on the same bill.

he did it before & it seemed to work. Hell, 2 shows in one night, who cares [tongue]

Will they even need to leave the stage?! Might as well start off with a RevCo set, then break right into the Ministry. Can’t wait, a Ministry show is always a great time.

I’ve been holding my breath for years for an Australian tour. Methinks it aint going to happen again before al stops his music career. Shame :frowning:

MasterBaTour huh?!?! Gee, that’s clever. Wow! Good thing these guys are still making music. Else I’d be screwed.

And I’d say the world needs a Revolting Cocks reformation right now about as much as it needs another Anthrax album. Agreed??

(Oh, hang on… Gotta keep remembering where I am… )

Who sells tickets a year in advance?
I’m not even sure what I’m doing this weekend, you know?

Doesn’t matter. The second that details for this thing roll out and I find ANY dates near me I’m buying tickets. At least 2 per any show near me. Yeah… Al and crew can capitalize on me, I don’t care. I’m that big a fan and I know that this is probably their last tour so why not?

Peace!

If this was their last tour, it would be called the “See you LaTOUR”. There’s definitely one more after this.

Unless you are referring to Revco, and not Ministry.

I wonder if they will be promoting new albums for Revco and Ministry, or promoting Rantalogy and a new Revco disc.

The year advance in sales is a bit strange. I mean, why set a deadline like that at this point, unless you have a complete grasp on what it is you want to do. Will this straight jacket the creativity of the new discs? I mean, we’ve seen them scrap entire albums in the past (maybe due to the influence of Warner?). That certainly can’t happen now.

Yeah, I’m referring to RevCo. I just really don’t see Al pushing that project much after this tour and album. It would be nice, but it just doesn’t really strike me as plausible. As for Ministry, yeah… I believe there are one or two more tours in the future before he gives it up. And as far as albums go, I’m betting that it’s going to be a new Ministry and a new RevCo, and without fail a push on Rantology since it will be coming out soon. But, we’ll see…

Peace!

RevCo and Ministry have never been on the same bill, as far as I know. Interesting idea, to see if it works… any other bands tour with their side projects and main projects on the same bill before? Curious…

well ministry’s meriville show can be SORTA counted as ministry+sideprojects show.

I saw the combination Samhain/Danzig show. That kinda falls in with that. Although i guess Samhain was Danzig’s
full time project at one time, it sorta falls into that category.

Actually, they tried it at lest once before - 12/31/87 was Revco opening for Ministry. They mentioned it in an interview somewhere saying that it didn’t work out, since Revco was the party band and everyone could barely stand when it came time for the Ministry set.

I thought Groovie Mann was gonna be a part of this new incarnation?

mrs jay won’t let afra reveil the lineup. It will be stated closer towards the tour [unsure]

[praying to god - that chris connelly makes at least one appearance (in ATL - respectfully) to do IN THE NECK. (one of the best revco songs)]
