“Ministry” video interview with Sin & Burton. Not very interesting for the most part, but Sin says the next Revolting Cocks album comes out in September, followed by a tour in late 2008 or early 2009. The new album features Sin, Josh, Clayton and Al only. No contributions from Luc, Jello, Gibby, etc.
al IS ministry(according to him). doesn’t it follow that al IS revolting cocks, pailhead, etc.
what ever happened to the 666 project of his? maybe couldn’t come up with new material all by himself to create a new project.
i wouldn’t call it false advertising. cocks were always revolving, but there was a core.
original core’s gone, and let’s see what happens. and if al calls new revco yet another project of HIS, everybody here has an idea of how that crap works.
Essentially there’s been, what, four core RevCo groups, at least as far as studio lineups go?
Al/Luc/Richard/Bill
Al/Luc/Bill/Chris/Paul
Al/whoever Al could con into appearing on “Cocked and Loaded”
Al/Sin/Josh/Clayton.
Actually, you could even slip an Al/Bill/Chris/Paul lineup in there, since Luc was only a member for LFG in name.
Why is Bill a member of Revolting Cocks according to the Big Sexy Land CD, but the Big Sexy Land LP has no mention of him?[/reply]
Good question. I only have the CD, so I didn’t realize this.
Aren’t there some bonus tracks on the CD version? Maybe he was involved with those.[/reply]
That answers it- Bill joined for “You Often Forget”.
From hearing those new songs, it could be “possible” for no devotion. Seems like they could fit that into a show with the newer stuff. It’d surely be nice at least. One of my favorite songs, despite being so damn repetitive: it’s catchy!

I think this project should now be called the Revolving Cocks instead[:)] I still prefer Big Sexy Land to anything that came after, but I have to say the '87-'93 lineup was classic. Good luck to the new guys, and hopefully that won’t sully revco’s reputation any more than it has been the last few years.
revco. who could ask for more.
all the luxa pan projects left the distinct impression that they were DONE when they were done.
who needs a revival.if the music’s awesome, so be it(with the new stuff).
Do you know for certain that Sin was talking about both the musical instrument input AND 100% of the vocal input or was he speaking only of the musical instrument input with other people having vocal input?

Heh, Revival Cocks would be a good substitute name too.
actually on a 13th planet sampler bill is credit on “attack ships” “no devotion” etc his name just does appear on the record/cd anywhere probably like with ogre and bsq
