Revamp tour

Has anyone gone to that think with Sin and Hardware? They’re going to be in Austin this Friday so I am contemplating going. I saw a video of them and it didn’t look too exciting, though. I like the remixes but I am not sure how much I can get into a concert with just a DJ and a guy playing electric guitar.

The Atlanta date got pushed to next month. I’ll probably go, just because I haven’t been to any sort of club event at all in a very long time.

I’m curious as to which songs have been redone aside from Just One Fix, Land of Rape, Burning Inside, Beers, and Stigmata. Or possibly that’s the whole setlist. I’m pretty sure they also do some of DJ Hardware’s material based on a live video I’ve seen. It’s pretty interesting the riff that Sin uses for TLORAH. I missed the Seattle show, cause I mean… A show lasting til 3AM on a Wednesday won’t have me come. If it was Ministry, that’d be different.

Or you could sit at home and jack off… it would probably be more fun.

Seriously… a remix album for clubs would be one thing, but a DJ and a guitarist touring? Sounds pretty fucking ghey to me.

But then again I’m sure it would be better than the CULatour abortion. Hell, the Jonas brothers 3D concert movie would be better than both.

Agreed.

I just don’t see the point.
Boring as hell.

in a recession, I have better ways to spend my money than by watching some dj with pretty generic beats along with a guitarist “covering” ministry riffs.

I mean, I don’t like the direction Ministry has gone, but you gotta give Sin credit for being extremely nice to the fans. Just because Paul Barker isn’t here anymore doesn’t mean everything Ministry related is bad.

As far as I can tell all three of the new RevCo guys are super-nice. I think they’re just young, happy to be professional musicians, and enjoying the ride while it lasts. And kudos to them for it.

Yes I agree with that last post. Ive met all three of these lads and they all seem very nice.
And I still like Sex-O. Gonna go purchase that today actually.

Is it out today? I ordered mine through 13th Planet, 'cuz I liked the shirt. Hasn’t arrived yet, though.

Yes, its out today. Just went and bought it. Artwork is very good.
Listening now and its pretty damn good.
[shocked]

I agree that Sin seems very nice.
But that still doesn’t make this interesting.

As mentioned above: Boring beats and a guitarist playing along does not do much for me.

Sure he is a nice guy. But what does that have to do with this project being interesting or not?

say hi to al’s kid. i doubt she’ll be there, but wtf.

is she attractive?

is she attractive?

lol. awesome.

Wasn’t one of those Piss Army dorks stalking Al’s daughter, or at least saying creepy shit about her at one time?

Probably.
She had a myspace page. I’m sure it’s still around, but I’m not going to look it up since I don’t even remember the kid’s name.

There was that “Where are you pants, Patty Jourgensen” website for awhile…

Whaaaaaa? Sounds … ummm… interesting.[/reply]

not really, it was a 2-frame GIF that played some audio in the background. it was a grainy as hell pic, and the setting was nothing at all sexual. looked more family oriented. like something your 3 year old would take of you while you were getting dressed for the day.

I’l jump up on this tip to second that!!
Same can be said for all the nu ministry people! Josh is a fuckin wonderful dude!
