This is stupid and lazy stuff. Absolute zero creative inspiration from those we thought were capable of better.

FYI…geezer wrote the lyrics for most of the new cd.

That’s another point in the “hope” column.
[reply][reply] They had to write a drug song but why about meth?
Cause Breaking Bad is FUCKING AWESOME!

Indeed it is…did you get all caught up on them,Grmps?[/reply]
Oh yeah!! I caught up around December, I think. I had to go to the net for the first 8 episodes of season 5 though. (July 13 is when the last 8 episodes of season 5 start again, I think.)
I’ve caught up on The walking Dead Comic too. Just waiting for Wednesday For the next one. Jesus, is that book fucking dark! Makes the TV show look like a feel good special.

Good. I’d heard it was going to be all Ozzy lyrics.
sabbath original music ruled…
by far the best music that came out in the 70’s
and will always rule.
anyone say anything different sucks…

has there EVER been ANY album that was all Ozzy lyrics? he didnt even write the lyrics for his fucking solo band.
the man is washed up, and this new sabbath album will suck cocks for quarters. Heaven And Hell ruled, but this… this will be… like the last Geezer solo album. something i want to love, but i know is just a cash in.
Just in case we we’re worried enough…
[i]The Black Sabbath gang will rock during a cameo in CSI’s season finale.
In the lead-up to the release of their upcoming album, titled 13, the band will appear in the finale of the crime drama on May 15, CBS announced Wednesday.
The band will play a concert in the show attended by some of the characters. The performance in CSI will debut the first single, “End of the Beginning,” from the group’s new album.
This isn’t the CSI franchise’s first foray into metal… hell, it’s not even their first foray into Ozzy. This still seems like the crappiest way possible to debut the first new song from this version of Black Sabbath in thirty-five years.[/i]
Well…at least they ain’t debuting the new single on Ellen.
You’d hope.
I’m going to watch it of course…

This is super fucking gay…of course now there will be an onslaught of people screaming “SHARON” and of course they will be right…but the thing is at some point one of these pussies needs to take a stand and shoot this kinda crap down…what a cheesy and lame way to debut a new single…whatever minute street cred they had is out the window…I care less and less about this record each day and I’m a HUGE Sab fan for over 30 years…fuck this…
This is super fucking gay…
That pretty much sums it up perfectly.
I can only imagine how terrible it will actually be. They’ll probably hire some hot, young “rocker chicks” (as if that’s their fan base) to be in an audience throwing up their little devil horns while making the stank face or some shit. Quick shots of the band and then to back to the chicks.
These sort of things are always so cringe inducing and painful to watch. I don’t understand why they felt the need to do this and I’m not even the slightest bit interested in the new Sabbath album.

You nailed it…that’s exactly how it will be…while fat middle Americans sit around in their LazY Boy’s stuffing there faces with Salsbury Steak and cheese grits…a good portion of them will be the same people who derided Sabbath decades ago for making devil music etc…from the lack of Bill Ward, the over-used album title and artwork,Rick Rubin laying around on his fat ass looking like a new age guru, the trite song titles, the snippet I heard sounded over-produced with a recycled ‘Hole in the Sky’ riff and the lyrical couplet was about as cliche as it gets…and now this cheeseball shit…I mean CSI? Really?
I know the album hasn’t come out and the quality of the music is what will ultimately matter…all I’m saying is I don’t like the way it’s looking…this ain’t my Sabbath…
You guys sure do bitch a lot.
I don’t watch CSI. Why should I give a shit?
I don’t care if YOU give a shit…I was expressing how I felt about it…
Decided to try giving Ozzy and Sabbath another try a few days ago. Absolutely loving the first Sabbath album. Not sure if I can get behind Ozzy’s solo stuff, but that first Sabbath album gives me some hope. Listened to a little bit of Paranoid, but not enough to really base an actual opinion of it. But after going back and trying to “get it”, it’s a safe assumption that i’m now pretty curious to hear the new one.
That for me, is a shock. I’ve spent the last several years/decades refusing to listen to anything Ozzy because I thought he was an overrated sack of shit (which I still do). Musically, though, that’s where the stuff comes to life imo.
Wouldn’t it be great if the tune turned out to be totally awesome! hahaha
Sounds very promising. Age of Reason (7:02) seems to be the big stand out. Can’t wait to get my deluxe cd.
Woo-hoo, i’m going to see Black Sabbath in Belfast in December. This is a dream come true for me, they’re one of the two bands that got me into playing the guitar. Can’t fucking wait!!
