I agree. The last good album this lot coughed up was waay back in 1981.
Two of the most underrated Sabbath records, imo, were Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die. The latter is one of my top 3 of theirs, Vol. 4 being the best of course.
“Junior’s Eyes” is my favorite neglected Sabbath song.

Those are both great. It’s funny, actually, because I just realized how hard it is for me to think of anything from the first 6 albums as hidden or forgotten gems because I listen to all of them end to end without skipping. I would have a hard time distinguishing track titles even, because of the same reason – I just let them all play through and have no idea what song is called what. I just recognize it by sound and know every single note and word . . . I just don’t know what the song is, hahaha!!!

speaking of ozzfest, i was at the 2002 tour (in sacramento) and i left within 10mins of the ozzy performance :P. you guys talk lots of shit about al, but ozzy is a MUCH bigger washup IMO. he could barely speak (even when he’s not on drugs)! i doubt he has the intelligence to write any songs/lyrics anymore either.
SOAD was amazing, and i got to shake hands with rob zombie!

Ozzy actually performed decently, but when we met him after the show he was a complete zombie. As we were filed through like cattle to have our photos taken with the great one we were shouted at, “Do NOT speak to the Osbournes! Do NOT touch the Osbournes!”
I’ll see if my buddy still has his photo. Ozzy laid his head on my buddy’s shoulder and then passed out. We’ve got a pic of him totally asleep and laying on his shoulder. It’s classic.
