That being said . . . . I actually liked Sammy’s funky remiXXX of the track “Relapse” on the album.

I refuse to buy any of these RemiXXX albums, though. I just have absolutely ZERO interest in them. Especially if they’re mixxxed by Erie Load.

I’d buy it for an instrumental version of “99%ers” alone, if there was such a thing.
That song fools me every time. “Hey this sounds great!”

When I’m listening to that one or “Get Up Get Out and Vote” I pretend that I don’t understand what he’s singing and imagine it is in Russian or something. If I let my brain tangle with the lyrics I find my head gets sucked into a blackhole of immense emptiness and despair.

They should just re-release the original album sans vocals !

I was listening to an interview the other night with Sin around the time that “Relapse” was about to drop. They were asking him what was unique and special about the album this time and he noted that Al was singing more and that his vocals were more distinct and clear . . . . they said this as if it was a good thing.

It’s pretty sad irony that the one time that we can clearly hear what Al is singing, we wish we couldn’t.

The lyrics were probably the most disappointing part of that album for me. Without them, the music is merely generic. With some being passable.
