fender precision bass… mm…
actually what did he play on the album? only two songs that don’t seem to have synth bass in them are i wanted to hell her and here we go (still this one sounds like syth).

There’s some of that 80’s style ‘slap bass’ on ‘What He Say’ that Brad played.
On tour he would play stuff like ‘Cold Life’ and he played a bit of synth live too. He actually played those really high piercing notes that are at the beginning of ‘Work For Love’ for example.
He was pretty well rounded.
He played the strings on “Revenge” live too.
i’d love to see all that, every live WS era tour boots i’ve heard have syth bass on 'em (except one, it had live bass guitar at least on overkill tune and some others)
So, what’s he up to now? I’d be interested in hearing at least a bit of it…I wasn’t aware until that '82 show I came across recently that the “band” Ministry was any good (at that time). And I REALLY think Stephen was a kick-ass drummer. Balls-out, so to speak. You just can’t tell on the actual album (thanks, Vince and Ely, for the overproduction)!

He’s done a lot of different projects from being the bass player on Aimee Mann’s “I’m With Stupid” to even playing on a Johnny Winter album. He also lists Iggy Pop in his credits though I’m not sure what.
Right now he’s playing in a blues band called “Roomfull of Blues” on Chicago’s Alligator Records. But it seems like he’s really more of a hired gun.
You’re right about Stevo George. He used to splinter 3 pairs of sticks per SONG. His stick bag was huge.
Perhaps Brad could do an nterview for the site…
wink wink nudge nudge
and an interview with Stevo would be cool too…

I tried contacting Roomful Of Blues’ manager last year while they were on tour, but I lost those opportunities because I kept getting distracted. You could email their website I guess…?
