Re: [jizzwad] best/worst Ministry song on a soundtrack?

Who cares? All of Ministry’s songs are terrible. The new stuff is retarded political rantings, and the old stuff is gay disco. Al Jourgensen has never written a decent tune in his ground-breaking 25+ year career. Or at least, he certainly hasn’t made a song that would be worth talking about on a message board. If I were to ever register and post on a Ministry forum, I’d have to be a complete and total loser.

That’s assuming that Al has actually ever written a song. It’s common knowledge that the reason the personnel in the band changes so often is that Al hires new members, steals their song ideas, and when they complain about the royalties, he fires them. Everyone knows that.

You don’t like Stigmata? Hm…

I’m going with Bad Blood. I skipped DSotS for awhile because of my dislike of that song.

Am i the only one who thinks ‘Bad Blood’ is a banging tune?

I think it gets alot more hate than it should too. If I remember correctly, this song had been hanging out in the ‘to do’ pile since Twitch, I wonder how it would have sounded then. As it is, its pretty ‘met-ul’, but I’d take Bad Blood over most of the newer thrash stuff.

I don’t think “Bad Blood” is such a bad song, but what kills it for me is those Ty Coon vocals.

The song is great until that bitch comes on the mic with her stank voice.

Ditto for Ty Coon’s shitty contribution to the bridge on “What Abous Us?” Totally ruins what might have otherwise been my favorite all time Ministry song. I fucking LOVE that song!!! (minus the bridge)

i agree with you on ty coon vox. they also sound really bad on “whip and chain”.

as for “bad blood”, al said couple times that the riffs for it were basically written in the “mind” days.

I do like the Rantology version, most likely because of the synths. It’s weird what a difference that makes.
Also, changed my mind - the best soundtrack song is Tonight We Murder, from the Demon Knight OST.

Groovie Mann’s voice gets on my nerves.

I would go with:
VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - BLOODLINES

I know not many of you like this tune but I do enjoy it.

ha yeah ive been pulling out that soundtrack for the past week actually, definitely good shiz on it. i like this version of TWM a little bit better than the one that has that synth version of what Paul is playing throughout the song. BTW i havent even seen the actual movie though, any good? do they play that song or that bitching Melvins song Instant Larry in the movie? thatd be sick.
