-this week on billboard: Fear Factory, Mechanize Candlelight) #71, 10,5000 sold

big debut for FF’s return. I think this pretty much is burton saying goodbye to ever coming back to 13th planet. That’s a number I think the non ministry cds put together is still less than.

-Deftones announce new cd release for end of may with free download of new single at end of Feb.

Well bassist gets into a car accident and instead of release the music the recorded w/him they shelf the whole album, get the guy from quicksand and record a new cd cause as chino said “it wouldn’t be right to release chi’s playing on a cd without his stamp of approval”. think al could take a lesson on something like this?

  • Aerosmith announce european summer shows w/Tyler

Damnit they’re playing download… weren’t they looking for a new singer like 2 weeks ago as tyler was singing kareoki at walmarts?

  • Lady Gaga, Greenday, Soundgarden announced as headliners of this years lollapalooza

Chicago has a reason for visiting again…

Lady Gaga, Greenday and Soundgarden can all go and get fukked.

Fear Factory? Yeah… gotta agree there. Haven’t heard it, so I cannot judge.

Deftones?

I sincerely wish it was Chino that was incapacitated. He is the biggest Achilles heel for that band, seriously. Well, that’s a bit harsh. I hope his car breaks down on the way to every rehearsal and he just gives up one day. He’d never walk, because seriously, have you seen him recently? He fucking ballooned after Saturday Night Wrist.

Aerosmith… meh… at least it took them two weeks to make up their friggin minds, unlike Van fucking Halen.

I would kill innocent orphans and nuns to see a double header of those two… shit yeah… [shocked]

I thought Hullabalooza was a great festival when it was running back in the day…

seriously, Cypress Hill with a string section, that was just amazing.

‘De La Loco de la mente’, just amazing.

Lollapalooza has lost it’s edge.

They lost it after the fourth or fifth year.

do you remember that huge bong they had on the stage? more like bong chamber. ya paloozas were fun from 91-95 then when they said metallica was the headliner…ya forget it. no way.

nothing against metallica just not the right scene.

Chicago has always had a good reason to visit: the Art Institute.

What in the name of fuck is Lady Gaga doing on Lollapallooza? That trap is the biggest fraud perpetrated on the public since W. All this pretense of her possessing artistic merit is nauseating. She’s a kitcsh nightmare from the nether regions of Madonna’s AIDS ridden ass.

Is Perry Farrell still involved with said festival? Though he was always a bit flamboyant.

lol that was a great year… sonic youth, psychotica, cypress hill, patti smith, beck, goldie, porno forpyros, etc… It was my first really big concert and I remember cypress coming out and just smelling weed, then i noticed they had pot leaves all over their drums and percussion section, then yes, right before playing hits from the bong the brought out a pipe the size of a person… a nice toasty fat person.

i still have the old lollapalooza magazines they gave out the first few years i went… the one from that year was published by alternative press back when it was one of those huge oversized magazines.
he gets alot of shit but I really do enjoy everything perry seems to have done musically… well except the collaboration he did with debbie harry… that was just silly. random fact, he’s the only artist to have played coachilla every year so far.
chino’s been fat since after around the fur… white pony he was big already… i love their music and I actually give them props for not releasing the eros cd that they did with chi right before his accident. even though chi was done with his parts they said they wouldn’t feel right without his stamp of approval on the finished cd. so they got the guy from quicksand and started over… not too many band would do that
hope you all liked the post… i mean it’s not alot of news, or nothing but i figured get something different going around here

oh here’s another one… i was reading on the wallstreet journal site, unfortunately the article is now under the pay part of the site, that capitol records almost shut down in october… it was mentioned in regards to their recent dealing with a loan and advice from terra firma… the shareholders wanted to sell off the liscensing devision and get close down the current artist portion… can you imagine if that shit happened? they’re like the 3rd biggest record company in the world i think

he has a third share ownership, I believe.

“Who is playing with the London Symphony Orchestra? Come on people, somebody ordered the London Symphony Orchestra. Possibly while high. Cypress Hill, I’m looking at you”

I find LadyGagsoncocks’s music pretty catchy. I’d totally fuck her brains out.

when has al released something without a ex-bass player’s approval? are you refer to jon monte? he was let go when the tour began or maybe the got cock song? they only put up one before all this happened album still not here. What lesson could he learn? all song’s recorded with franke TKK were never released bill reiflin approved of his drum tracks being used in 1997 it just seems like people here give the guy shit just to give him shit ministry fan’s seem like the most fickle fan’s ever , think about it, everyone here complained for years about a return to WS sound he’s making that kind of record eveyone here complained in 1999 about how the record was not fast enough we had three ‘fast’ records in a row in '96 fp got ripped on for it’s lack of electronics/exp. noone like dark spoon i’ll cont. later

from what i could decipher… from about “fickle fans” onward seems pretty inaccurate for this board. I think most here like Filth and Spoon the best… no?

Dude, did you post in the wrong thread?
That didn’t make a damn bit of sense, even for you.

Lady Gaga is great.

Lady Gaga is great.

supposedly there are new semi nude pics of her but based on the few times I’ve seen her there’s no way you could tell if you’re looking at her back or her front! She’s built like the guy not known as Brian Warner. although I would bet the guy not known as Brain Warner is probably a solid B cup which is mountain larger than lady Gaga! Still wouldn’t mind seeing her nips though! [:P]
