That’s your assumption. Paul was NOT a founder, but his contributions were pretty major. Particularly the 90s when Al probably couldn’t distinguish left from right. So those hanging on paul’s nuts might actually be fans of the work he’s contributed (that’s half btw). You can consider me one of them. Catchy baselines and all around just good at helping with song structure.

Big deal. Revoltingspock thinks only Paul stuff is “real” Ministry and Twitch Addictive pointed out (correctly) that Ministry existed before Paul joined.
I’m not a fan of “With Sympathy” aside from “Revenge” and don’t really care about much of the Wax Trax singles or whatever, but “Twitch” is actually one of my favorite albums. I’ll take it over LORAH and TMIATTTT, actually.
Also, I think Al and crew still put out at least one decent album (HOTM) after Paul left.

TWITCH may well be my favorite Ministry album. It’s brilliant! I’d be way more excited to hear Al do something new with Sherwood than I would be for him to do something with Paul. I don’t think either will happen though.

I don’t care about her answering anyone’s questions. I do think it reasonable, though, to provide some explanation or justification when she makes insinuations about others or willingly participates in or starts arguments.
As for answering questions posed to her, I think the reason others (this at least applies to me) have pointed out her non-answering of the Ministry or industry trivia stuff is because some members of the board are implying that she’s giving some valuable insight or revelations and that her contributions here are golden.
I just don’t see it.
I do LIKE her participation, though (just for completely different reasons than her “fans”).
I doubt she knows as much about Ministry and Paul’s involvement as she might like to indicate or as much as people here might expect. After all, how much do wives usually know about what the husband does at the office or on a business trip?
Gerda is a groupie like the rest of us. She feeds off of the attention but doesn’t like being called out for it.

You pissed her off and now’s she gone looney. But, I’ve dealt with her long enough to know that even though she is sometimes full of crap, she means well, and is a good person. For you to attack her as much as you have and continue to goes beyond her half witted attacks on you.

I’m totally aware that I get perceived sometimes as a “bully”, but that’s certainly not how I view myself. I don’t “attack” people just because they’re nuts or different or goofy. But when someone is arrogant and goes out of their way to assert his or her superiority over someone I’m gonna card 'em.
If such a person quits with the foolishness or owns up and apologizes for being a jackass, I drop it (or at least drop it down to a minimum) and we get on with our meaningless cyber-lives.
I don’t think she’s a bad person. I don’t even really think she’s stupid. I do, however, think she’s extremely egotistical, arrogant, and stubborn and these traits have been her downfall.
Also, the posts about Gerda have been just as much fueled by knuckleheads like “RevcoSpock” and “Databoy” blindly screaming along as they have by her. These little skirmishes would just burn off on their own if there wasn’t so many people screaming for it to stop.
Anyway, I understand your perspective and appreciate and understand it, even though I don’t necessarily share it.
I didn’t mean that Gerda was somehow obligated to answer our questions, all I meant was a) to reply to the statement that she “laid golden eggs” when really, no, she’s never really given us anything we wanted to know, and b) point out that the rest of us are all conversing with each other here, and she’s always either talking TO HERSELF or randomly going off on us. At least when Gunnar or Grumpy go at someone, it makes sense and is at least somewhat intelligible and usually amusing. Gerda’s posts are just condescending and completely uninteresting. I hope she gets something out of it because I for one feel like I just lost precious seconds of my life I’ll never get back everytime one of her posts graces my screen. She’s not contributing anything, she’s a distraction, and I’m over it. Period.
Maybe she hasn’t done anything for you but she has hooked me up more than once in big ways. She hasn’t asked for anything in return. So speak for yourself.
The “golden egg” comment implied a gift to the entire board. She may have been gracious and kind to you, and to others as well. And I’d hope that any “friendship” that anyone may have established with her isn’t destroyed just because a few members of this board speak freely. If she cuts off said people because of these events . . . . . then those weren’t exactly the most meaningful relationships to begin with, if you ask me.
