questions for gerda

@ Gerda: thanks.

@ Gunnar: Uneasy Rider sounds close alright (but then again it’s country music) but from my hazy (drunk) memory the KKK were mentioned a few times in the song, as if part of a chorus. Could have been a remix though.

Anyway, glad to lay to rest the notion that Buck Satan never had anything worth missing.

Other than some genuinely racist crap the only other songs I can think of with KKK or Ku Klux Klan in the choruses would be Steel Pulse’s “Ku Klux Klan” and Ramones’ “The KKK Took My Baby Away”, but neither of those are remotely country.

Don’t forget Body Count’s “KKK Bitch”

(love it when she fucks me though)

Ice Cube: “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted”.

i am completely in fear of a black planet.

i was wondering, what does paul think about downloading music? torrents?

thanks [:)]

How did Al and Paul originally meet and start working together?

i am completely in fear of a black planet.

Ok Andrew Eldritch.

guess you’ve gotten your genres mixed. i AM a public enemy. fan.

Remember when Public Enemy and Sisters of Mercy went on tour together? I think they had Gang of Four as an opener. It was some weird attempt to compete with Lollapalooza for eclecticism.

we do bs all the time. carmangary, it was more my privilege to meet you in chicago, than vice versa. i got no beefs. just a hot head. so …that’s the way it goes. man.

gang of four and public enemy would just about kill me.i am, and always will be, committed to the funk.and last poets. and al green. and james brown. goddamn. i ain’t white and tiny. i’m black and i’m proud. holy shit.

He hated it as of 2003

I’ll only download it if I can’t find it in stores. And I still pay for it thru iTunes.

I will admit that I do miss the days of shopping for vinyl and discovering a band for the first time. It was like I had found an undiscovered treasure or some shit. But in these days of global communication and being a able to find some dude in the alps with an internet connection releasing some quality shiat is just as satisfying and I dont mind buying it and downloading it, but Im a sucker for great artwork.

why as of 2003? any info would be nice :).

pb has to download files from various party peeps all the time. does he download music just for fun? maybe.he’s too busy to care about anything besides the sound quality. not where it came from necessarily. we watched katy perry the other night because she’s on tour and one of my family members wants to go with an 8 year old to see the rockshow at the erwin in austin, and mi esposo happens to be able to pull some strings.sweet. for the kid.

That’s so hot it melted my popsicle.
