just got mine from a dealer in poland, works in u.s. players.
it’s never been available in the u.s. in blu-ray format.
heres the ebay link:

you gonna make a post about every blu-ray released movie?
only the ones i want, look for something posted each and every single day…have a great day!
love pulp fiction, don’t get me wrong, but is anybody seriously going to be watching this movie on a regular basis anymore? at like 30 bucks or whatever for a blu-ray, especially in this economy that’s kinda pissing away money. and that’s for your average one that’s not a bootleg polish import. but hey to each their own.

I check this flick out a couple of times every couple of months. I LOVE this flick!!! I already own it on Blu Ray but I don’t have that cheap looking ebay one. I have this version http://www.amazon.com/Pulp-Fiction-Import-Blu-ray/dp/B000RJEHLM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1263619188&sr=8-1 But I certainly didn’t pay $80 for it. I think it was $20 with shipping, certainly not more than $25
and man let me tell you the clarity is incredible! You actually see Samuel L. Spit when he talks as he’s giving the the “shadow of death” speech to Brad.
Just recently bought the Dutch release of SE7EN, well worth the 30 bucks. it’s region free as well.
That pretty much rounds out my MUST HAVE Blu Rays. I’ll probably buy 'em again when they get a proper US release but It will be only for the Extra features and I’ll wait till the price comes down on 'em well after they are released.
Late,

the ones i have mentioned are very rare and hard to find (not wicked lake) and have the capability of being a very rare and collectable. you cant walk in any store and get them…i like that!

Well, for me Se7en and Pulp Fiction are the ones pissing me off here in the US because they have yet to be released. They are Super popular Movies and they should’ve been on the first line of releases but they were not. I suppose they’re doing it to increase demand and I imagine to inflate the price when they are released.
Canada released Se7en but they cropped the picture and really didn’t polish the image that much. (really just transferred the dvd image onto the blu ray disc) I got tricked into buying Chasing Amy by the Canadians who did the same thing with this movie, but Amy has now been released in the US proper, so whatever!
The Dutch have released an un-cropped very polished picture of Se7en, that’s the copy I just got. they are both region free but no extras. But holy crap the Picture is phenomenal!
As far as my must Have List, I’d Say:
Reservoir Dogs
Matrix
Crank (and Crank 2 if you like)
The Italian Job
Pulp Fiction
Robocop
Se7en
X-Files I want to believe
Wall*E
Terminator 2
Nightmare Before Christmas
The Corpse Bride
(The Kevin Smith Collection- Just waiting on Mallrats and Jersey Girl, and then the off shoot movies; Drawing Flies, Vulgar, A Better Place, Now You Know and Tail Lights Fade. Would only call these must have for me cause I have an unhealthy collection of Kevin Smith movies and Merch.)
Waiting for the Original Star Wars Trilogy and the original Indiana Jones Trilogy. I may Pick these up imported as well if they present themselves before the US releases.
Dazed and Confused
Swingers
(Dazed and Swingers still aren’t released but they are in the second tier of must haves. I can wait till they’re released
I have a couple so far:

star trek the new one
I have these as well we haven’t watched Star Trek yet but we saw it in the theater. The Batman’s are superb as well. My dad got me the seasons 2&3 of the original Star Trek on blu ray and it’s so crisp it looks like it was filmed on a cam corder!! still the greatest star trek series ever!
Late,

thanks for the input…I like se7en too…have the platinum series 2 disc on dvd.
My question is…does TV shows on Blu-ray (since they’re all at 480 before HD came into play although at 30 frames)…is it really that good? You mentioned the old Star trek so I’m guessing transfer is converted up and everyone is happy.
I know they redid the graphics for the old star trek episodes for a dvd release… whether it was blu-ray or not i don’t know.
personally i’ll just stick to my netflick to get my dvd fix.
blu-ray is too much, besides i’ll wait till i can get a blu-ray burner so then just rent and burn them… nice and cheap.

yeah me too, such a good flick!

I do believe they have up converted the picture. the nice thing about the old star trek series is that while it is 1080p you don’t have to watch the enhanced graphics. there is an option on the blu ray to watch the series with the original graphics. Personally I like enhanced graphics but I think it’s cool they did that for the purists.

Is that the one in the cardboard “notebook” case. If so, yep I got that one too. Funny though I watched it recently, and noticed the disc was a goldy color. I forgot the really early DVD’s were more gold than silver… they’ve been around for a while huh.
As for Star Wars… unless it’s new releases (Ie. Clone Wars) is Lucas going to put them on Blu-Ray any time soon? You know how long it took him to transfer them to DVD, and from what I remember that was because he didn’t think DVD was going to be around long… so he might drag his feet on a BR to see what else is coming. I have them all on DVD so I personally wouldnt bother until I get a big flatscreen lol.

Had never heard of those off-shoot movies… what are they like? I dig Smiths movies, although they always end up with a cheesy romance sub plot.

Movies made by his friends,
Drawing flies made by malcom ingram. terrible terrible flick! It’s about kids who are leaching welfare and then get cut off from the state so they go camping to find big foot so they can be rich and famous. It’s got Jason Lee in it and it’s in black and white. Produced by View askew
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drawing_Flies
Vulgar made by Bryan Johnson AKA “Steve Dave” from Mallrats forward. It’s the story of the cross dressing clown that used to be the mascot for view askew. Ok idea, good at times but really the line delivery is what ruins the flick. some really dark content at times. Produced by View Askew.

A Better Place written by Vincent Pereira. the one time viewaskew “historian.” Basically Smith’s friend who was there from Smith’s early beginnings. It’s about this kid that gets bullied at school and makes friends with another bullied kid. good flick. Has Jason Lee’s now ex wife in it. Produced by View Askew.

Now You Know Written by Jeff Anderson AKA Randal From Clerks. great flick. pretty funny, Jeff’s gimmick for his Alarm business is hilarious! romancy though. starts out with a bachelor party and then the wedding gets called off… you know the rest. it’s not the story it’s the ride to the end of the flick that is good! Produced by View Askew

Tail Lights Fade again written by Malcolm Ingram it’s the story of a couple who have to drive across Canada to bail out the girls brother who has a weed grow house. The brother is in Jail and the boyfriend wants to steal his weed. Again produced By View Askew and Jay Mewes (the Jay, from jay and Silent Bob) makes a little cameo at the end. Bland film!

I’ve seen Drawing Flies go for pretty hefty prices since it’s out of print and was only in print for like 2 hours! (Not really but it was brief) and I was one of those “Need to order it or get it as soon as it comes out” people. So I had it from the get go. [strike]Kinda funny it goes for quite a bit since it’s such a BAD flick![/strike] just checked amazon and the price is about right now it doesn’t go for more than 5 bucks which still could be a bit high! I can’t imagine it being on Blu Ray any time soon or at all…Although it’s not as bad as Wicked Lake and Wicked Lake it getting a Blu Ray release. But then Again Wicked Lake has great Boobs in it!!
So, yeah, there ya go.

Pretty happy with my Pulp Fiction VHS but thanks anyway!
