I just got PTP rubber Glove Seduction Off Of Ebay. The CD was pressed in '92 in France from a company called devotion. In the Side projects section it says that it was released in 88 under wax trax. Did I get a reissue or import?

In the late 80s-early 90s, Devotion released the European versions of most Wax Trax Luxa/Pan related material. In most cases they’re exactly the same as their US couterparts other than the label info. So yes, you snagged an import.

That’s the 3 inch CD version, right? That’s the version I have on CD. However, I haven’t been able to figure out exactly when it came out… not sure if it was the same year as the WaxTrax! US release, or later on.

Ah, you’re right… it’s the WaxTrax! Europe 3" CD I’m thinking of here. That’s the one I can’t figure the release date on.

I had a choice between the 3" cd of Acid Horse, and the 12" vinyl - the 12" was $4, and the cd was $20. So, you know, I got the record.
