I picked mine up today. Worth every penny. I sure hope this means Mind will be reissued too.
who is credited mixxxing this, then?

Weird that Rhino put this out. I know they are basically WB, but it’s still weird to me.

How so? Rhino typically re-releases for artists when approaching a 20 year anniversary of a release. It’s not like Al is having a mid-life crises and calling it Psalm 70. Oh wait that was Houses of Mole. My mistake. [laugh]
Might just have to get a copy. Hope LoRaH and Mind get remastered and re-released on vinyl. I have a copy of the Mind but a fresh one would not hurt one bit…
JLW probably remembers when Rhino specialized in '50s and '60s reissues.
I guess that was 20 years ago though, so '80s and '90s reissues actually make sense now…
Bought!

HAHA!!! I remember well, because I own a good handful of them (and various best-of comps too).
I think I have or had Rhino releases for Alice Cooper, The Four Tops, The Ojays, Dion, Tom Jones . . .
saw this at amoeba over the weekend, skipped it though in favor of 2 misfits vinyls that cost less (combined) than the ministry vinyl.

Yeah I remember the Rhino comps. And, of course, the Zappa discs, some of which I have.
I think it’s just weird because I’m stuck in that time, I haven’t bought a Rhino disc in years so to see stuff put out like Ministry is a little odd to me.
Is it remastered? Lochmixxx monster didn’t get ahold of it, did he?
Saw this at my favorite record store for under $20, worth it? Been slowly collecting Ministry vinyls and while it’d be preferable to have the original pressing it looked tempting.
from the outside of the packaging and the release info from Rhino, no it hasn’t been molested by Loch.
This is identical to the original. There are no additional notes, credits, etc other than a sticker on the front with some quotes from critics and that this is 180 gram vinyl. This looks like it could have been released in 1992. I would have liked to have a couple of stories from the band or music critics regarding the influence of the album. I also noticed that this might have been the first time that I listened to Psalm on the way through in at least 10 years. I forgot how good the LP is. This is 100% untainted from what I can tell. It even has the SIRE/ WB logos on it.
I had to bump this because our smart assin’ around turned out to be 100% medically accurate (just read the Erie Load interview posted earlier today).
Yep. All your Ministry favorites will get pimped out by the great Erie Loch.
I don’t think all that stuff will ever actually get released.
No chance any of that pre-2004 material will get released. If so, Paul’s gonna get paid fat.
