Doubt many here could give a rats ass about Chemlab, but I’m posting this for the fuck of it.
Jared Louche new band Prude (which sounds nothing like Chemlab) are coming out with an album “Dark Age of Consent”. Here’s a preview via Soundcloud. It’s gonna be a goodie.
I’ve always been a pretty big fan of Jared and still pick up anything he does. The polar opposite of a lot of music figures out there (not just Al, but he’s definitely an example). Jared puts his heart and soul into everything he puts out there. Even the stuff he comes out with that’s out of left field is still pretty interesting, if only for the sincerity. Well, except East Side Militia. It’s been 15 years and I still haven’t made it through the disc all the way.

Same here, everything from h3llb3nt, to pigface, covergirl, and now Prude, it’s all gold. You’d think he’d be burnt out, like a lot of the big industrial names out there but he’s only gotten better you could say. And this Prude project is going to be hot! Love everything I’ve heard so far. My only gripe is he sure takes his sweet ass time with stuff. How long has he been raving about this Prude project? 3 or 4 years.
I don’t see this album coming out soon. Plus I’m still waiting for Chemlab’s - Machine God Down, I don’t know if it’s been scrapped or what. Not to mention that album of Chemlab rarities, and unreleased tracks that was going to be titled Feasts of Burnt Ram or whatever… and also Burnt Out (I think that was the title) of unreleased Burnout at the hydrogen bar demos.
