I remember joining this forum in '99 around the time Dark Side was released. I think I found this board by searching the web for an mp3 of Nature of Outtakes!

My memory is very hazy from back then, but I think the initial reaction to Dark Side being released was sheer shock!!!
I think I originally came here in 99 also, (perhaps 2000) looking for JBMH lyrics, but then that board went away and was replaced by this board and I didn’t sign up right away.
back when IdreamImaTiger was the big scandal maker. “Oh my god who is it? is it a girl? oh my god I don’t know.”
come to think of it, it was probably that girl that Al puked on her back.
Like a few others I’ve been here since prongs was launched. Migrated over from the old board when it was on Waste. I still have no idea why I switched IDs at the time. Perhaps Alzheimer’s is setting in.
I discovered this place in the beginning of 2006 but didn’t create an account until over a year later.
There was a particularly nasty thread that personally attacked two people I know irl, and I had to say something. That thread was eventually deleted, but it remains what precipitated my account creation.
I would eventually meet several of you in person.
I also have a 6-degrees story that relates to this board. I used to work with one one Wemp’s neighbors on a weekly basis. We were sitting in the bar one night in July 1999 and he asked me if I had heard of a little band named Ministry. I said hell, yes. He told me that he was neighbors with Wemp. I had no idea when I joined this board that Wemp had an account here.
Probably between 98-2001 for me. I wonder if Afra has any archives.

When I moved to NC she felt sorry for me or something and asked for my address and said she was going to send me some cool stuff that no one else had. I never got anything, though. She did hook me up and got Connelly to sign his book and send it to me and also hooked me up at Retrospectacle when she gave me her VIP sticker so I could hang out upstairs.
She sent me a T-shirt from Paul’s effects pedal company. She seemed much better, rational, as special ed.

I went back in my post archive to see if I could find the thread that started this long and sometimes strange journey. It is not there.
I have yet to meet the smrfy.
I am determined to kick my no-flying issue in 2015. I have to do this.

I found the Piss Army board before Prongs. I was making friends and meeting people through that board since 2004. I don’t remember how I stumbled on this one, but I think I first looked over there because there were funny Prongs v. Piss Army threads and chatter.
I made this account (I hadn’t used the name online before) originally just to snoop around and possibly kick up some scuttles. I really couldn’t get into the place at all at first. Everyone seemed a bit stuck up their own asses and kind of misanthropic . . . and not in a fun way.
Piss Army was as much a social club as it was a fan site and that’s what I liked about it. It also might explain why Piss Army was always properly filled with females and Prongs has always been a sausage party.
Anyway, I never got involved here until about 2010 when Piss Army imploded on itself. I’ve always loved Afra and because of some idiots on PA he was getting the blame for the page’s destruction. I came on here to help clarify some of the back story and to clear his name.
Shortly thereafter I started chatting with Grumpy. He was the first Pronger I met offline (aside from any that were Pissants first) and I took him to the premiere of “Fix” with me. Hitting subsequent shows and events and such I would meet up with others too.
I was registered at Piss Army (under this name), but rarely posted. I just lurked for news/info.
I did attend a Piss Army meet up in Chicago in 2008 before the “final” Ministry shows.
I came here after I posted on Litany about hearing FBTE early and someone tattled on me. Grmpy called me out, so I had to defend myself. Heh.

The very first PA/Prongs person I met was none other than SickSteve on the 2006 trip to Chicago when he picked me up at O’Hare and forgot where he parked.

What did I call you out on? I thought you came over with Atom and Atom was the douche? I remember Litany getting all pissed off because I made fun of the FASLE word they throw around but I’m pretty sure that was before you came over. There was a dude waiving at me from the Litany forum who I waived back out from this forum.
