im so sorry to hear about that Chem.

take all the time you need, and my prayers are with you.

Thanks guys, this really means a lot to me. It has been a really rough week, my dad has been diagnosed with leukemia, and right now also while being in the hospital has developed pneumonia. So it is not looking too good, but we are trying to hold things together here.

I will continue working on the comp when time allows, but for now it will have to be pushed back. My thanks go out to afra for supporting this whole idea, Simon for some awesome art, and to all you guys here for your hard work in making some great music.

Hey. I just wanted to chime in here and say that I put a lot of work into all of my submissions here last week and they are all basically ready for the comp.

I am a deadline type person though and there are always minute little changes I am running through in my head.

I tend to mix until the last possible second with stuff like this and then whatever I am left with is the “final version” (most musicians know they will never be truly happy with any mix of their dear baby of a song)

So anyway this was a long way of saying Chem please just let us know a new deadline whenever you can (NO RUSH!!!) and I will have everything to you by then, 100%. (I find that would be easier on you than me sending you the “final version” and then a week later “No! THIS is the final version!!!” etc. it just gets confusing.

I need deadlines.

Thanks voidhead you guys are great, sadly my Dad passed away on Sunday morning. At least it was over pretty fast, and he wasn’t in a whole lot of pain. Doesn’t seem real though. We are burying him on Friday at a veteran’s cemetary in North Georgia.

I’ll be ready to continue work on the comp pretty soon, so I’ll have to see how finances are after the funeral and everything. I have to make sure that Simon is compensated for all the hard work he has put into this too. It will be done however, and I think you guys will be pleased with how it all turns out.

So void if you want to tinker around with your tracks a bit more send them in to me say around the end of this month?

Honestly, it’s fine is this goes on hiatus. There’s no rush. Give yerself as much time as you need and give us the heads up when you feel you can.

I am finishing my tracks for the comp now!!!

I switched it up a bit since some of the BLACKBOMBS stuff ended up online before this.

BLACKBOMBS - “Bipedal Marching Tank”
Majestic Imperial - “Crystal Fist”
Nursing Home - “City on a Hill” (finalizing the mix on this damn song which began on New Years and has haunted me since)

Very cool void, I am looking forward to hearing these tracks especially the BLACKBOMBS I like that project a lot. After this I’ll see where we are as I think there’s only a couple more submissions left to go.

Finishing some Corrugation recordings this weekend, so I should have a track for you in about a week. It will either be “Chasing Shadows” or “Cold Silence” (or I could send both and you could pick what works best on the comp).
