Just ran across this on the net and thought you guys would be interested. Preston Hubbard was the bassist for the Fabulous Thunderbirds who went on to perform with Al and Mike at the only Buck Satan gig in Austin. He’s got a website that tells his story, including his descent into heroin and crack addiction and dealing. He talks of being roomates with Patty Jourgensen, hanging out with the boys in Marble Falls, and being bailed out of jail by Al. His story is here…

Yeah. He’s a good guy. I loved his story, as well. I remember emailing and phoning him years ago to hear more of his stories, not to mention info for this site. Never got to get much, but I can tell you that he played bass on “Gameshow”.
