I did notice if I was in some central or east European country and people picked up on the fact that I wasn’t speaking the local language so well, they’d try to converse in German as a backup, rather than English - so yes maybe I look like a lost spawn of Klaus Kinski to those who aren’t projecting Grammer-hood onto me…
