have a fucked up dream!! Last night, for the first time in well over a year, I decided to listen to the Pink Anvil cd. It’s truly amazing, I think it’ll definitly be getting alot more spins now. I was very tired and ended up falling asleep about halfway through the album (it’s not boring, I was just VERY tired) .
So some weird aliens came down into my backyard, brought me onto their ship, tried to do an autopsy on me or something, but I escaped, ended up floating in space, and burned as I entered the earth’s atmosphere.
Haha gnarly. Pink Anvil is cool like that. Their next album should be called “Songs That Will Give You Fucked Up Dreams.” Damn, now Im just sad cos I wanna hear another Pink Anvil album. Paul, goddamnit, let us know what youve been doing already! Wanna hear more Paul Barker shiiiiiit.
orb: hell yes! we need more barker…but i do respect his wishes to have time for his family etc. whatever happened to the guy who had close ties with barker? (forgot his username here) … and was mentioning lead into gold reissues?
i think afra knows (at least knew) what barker’s been working on, he had one update where he mentioned that barker’s recent stuff was “heavy” . hmmm
He was fucking annoying but at least he provided some information…though I dunno how legit it was.
I remember one time he was talking about how Barker’s next record was gonna sound like a cross between Bauhaus, Led Zepellin and someone else.
Just sounded too bizarre…
But who knows. Something about classic instrumentation as well.

Yeah goddamit I like the Pink Anvil album, its a good album to listen to falling asleep because it does set you up for some crazy crap if youre mind is workin overtime.
Yeh didnt that dude say something like Paul was doing a soundtrack for a movie and new solo stuff was being made as well? Yeh I guess its cool, settling with family a bit more and whatnot. Is he married and have kids and stuff too? I always hear about Al’s love life but never about Paul’s. Anywhoo, if that soundtrack stuff is even mildly true, I wanna see that movie.
