Pigface - 6

martin’s not good with paying other musicians with whom he works. on pigface… name the project.
seems to think he’s above all of that.
wow. that rings a bell.
what the fuck is wrong with getting paid. especially now, when the music industry will maybe, if you’re lucky, pay you to do a remix for 1-5k, depending upon the band, the use (and i won’t say “usage”). everyone and their momma’s out their chasin’ the dollar.
maybe THAT is what makes people like martin so desperate, and so convinced that they can con other artists to help them.
beats me. just flappin’ my jaws.

back to michael jackson and his deal. what a poster boy for excess, and the state of this industry.

Definitely old school sound. I like these tracks:

Sanctify - is cool…I’m a sucker for Mary Mary.
Electric Knives Club - Chris does a good job with the chorus.
K.M.F.P.F silly song… I like Curse’s screams…she sounds a little like Lucia.
I Hate You In Real Life Too - not very pigface sounding…rockish. Pretty cool track.
Mercenary…I’m hearing // / // & Skold influences.

Dude, Curse Mackey is a guy.

It sucks the only ‘new’ material of Hanin Elias’ is Pigface releases now.

Dude, Curse Mackey is a guy.

lol…i guess there’s a chick in there somewhere, maybe not credited.

Hanin’s the only female I really notice on there, not sure who the other one is. Her and Chris shine on that album, Esch has his moment on 5,6,7,11. KMFPF is easily forgetable, as is a decent portion of this album. If I had to pick favorites, i’d say the first three tracks and that’s about it…

That’s Hanin Elias on that track for sure. Don’t know why she’s not credited.

the girl from Atari teenage riot is on it

Yeah, that’s who we’ve all been talking about. Hanin Elias.

The track credits are just the people who wrote the song, not the people who performed it. I miss the detailed performance credits (performer and instrument) that the older Pigface albums had.

yeah but that’ll just makes the payroll easier to figure out. [laugh]

I don’t know why Martin even credits other writers: he always just keeps the royalty money for himself, I keep asking him for statements: he keeps not replying, he also didn’t send me a copy of the stupid new record

Wish I had a gothic kitten voice, then maybe he’d pay me…

He must throw some change though. Why would people keep coming back? Denial?

Most people don’t. ex. ohgr, genesis, etc…

chris mentioned a while back that the vocals on the cd were something he was recorded a few years back and got paid $700 for the session, i think the amount was.

i was referring to people like En Esch. People who’ve been playing with pigface since Gub/Fook have usually returned with a few exceptions (ogre, etc.). Why come back for that? Might as well just get royalties.

Yeah.
In penis dollars.

he bribed us with $400.00 each/ session fees

he never, EVER pays royalties.never ever,

yeah. martini’s always recouping his costs.
he’s probably still recouping that 400 bucks.

I have a feeling en isn’t rollin the money like some would think he would be. yeah he was a big part of kmfdm for a while, but he didn’t write any of the “hits”. His solo stuff has pretty much bombed since he left the band, even that ‘Cheesy’ album didn’t do too well.

Oh, I know Esch isn’t rolling in it. Far from it most likely with all of the ebay auctions and so on. One person once said “he’s prolly barely even able to afford a can of peaches”. The stuff he’s doing with Mona Mur must be helping him though, since he’s likely funding the slick idiot
tour coming up. But I guess other than En, it’s just nobodies now?
