I always enjoyed the communal aspect of the band (until 6), but once Damage Manual came along, I preferred that to 90% of Pigface. I only saw Pigface once, in 03, but they had Connelly and played a few Damage Manual songs (and a couple of RevCo) and it was EPIC.
New High In Low was really good. Well, at least the disk with actual songs was. Many jokes were made at that time about the only way for Pigface to have an album that was good across the board was to include a second disk of crap. Try Kiss King, Burundi, and Methylated.
That’s the half of the album that sounds like a Fruitopia commercial to me. Very '90s faux-hippie.
