any clue on what model he used the last? i mean that black hollowbody electic/acoustic bass beast you can see in sphinctour and i assume on all the subsequent tours?
any photos where you can see the fucking headstock of the bass with the logo? cuz of all the live pics of him i saw the headstock always is out of frame.
pretty sure its either a black acoustic gibson OR a black acoustic ibamez. most likely gibson cos he can definitely afford it.

Or an Epiphone Rivoli, which is it’s slightly less expensive cousin.

I stand corrected. I was trying to go from memory and indeed it’s not an EB2. So I looked at a couple of pics to refresh my memory.
The only hollowbody bass with a Les Paul shaped body, 4 knobs in a diamond shape (like a Gibson) and a stoppiece that extends all the way out to the end of the body (kinda like a trapeze bridge) that I could locate is an Italia Torino. Even the headstock seems to be a match.
Here’s one in blue, though it can be bought OTC in black.

also close, but not exactly that. the bridge is different (although headstock is almost exact match!) but the upper right side of the body on barker’s bass was with a sharp end and it had sorta circle “cutout” in the place where this blue one has oval or something…
it’s just i always wanted to know what model he had, i never saw a pic in teh intarweb of him playing it where you could clearly see the logo on the headstock, let alone you can’t see that in boots or even on sphinctour.
i’ve searched main parts of ibanez and gibson catalogues but there are no such models. that’s why i’m asking it here.

the point of my post was that the dude who suggested to “ask paul on pissarmy” was either joking or just doesn’t know that paul is not in ministry anymore.
i had no intentions on turning this thread about just bass guitar model into another “ministry camp relations” type thread.

Hi guys. Paul’s bass is a Gibson EB-750. His is the only that I’ve ever seen in a black finish. And yes, it is one beast of a bass. I’d love to have one, but they usually run around $3k, and that’s if you can find one.
