I already liked the way it sounds.
But I’ll pick this up for sure. Interesting that it says “Mix by Paul Barker (Ministry)” and “Mix by Dave ‘Rave’ Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy)” and “Mix by Danny Lohner (NIN…)” even those those guys haven’t had anything to do with those bands in years.
The first Perfect Circle album is about the only thing I’ve ever liked from Maynard. What I heard of Puscifer sounded far from “up my alley” so I’ll probably pass - even with Paul on the decks.
I find it funny that Lustmord is someone cool to have remix your track. Who’d have thought?
Even though it seems cool to hate Maynard. I don’t! I wanna hear this. The remix that was on V Is For Vagina was pretty cool. I think it was previousley released though?
Whats the title of this Remix album/release date etc?

maynard seems like a douche (anyone who sells gun targets he supposedly shot at to fans has to be one) but undertow and aenima are 2 of my favorite rock albums of the 90s. i still throw those on the record player quite a bit.
i got a physical copy this week and the barker mix is awesome–a thousand times better than the original and yeah, sounds like some bass adventures going on there. definitely worth that alone.my copy has no mention of prior bands, ministry, puppy or anybody else. mat mitchell btw has done sound “support” for everybody, like tool nin etc. and has worked with ministry in the past but doing visuals on tour.
Yeah, the tracklisting at the start of this thread is actually a little different from the disc - instead of the “Lighten Up Francis” mix, there’s a second “Queen B” remix, the order is different, and there’s a short track called “PSA, LOL”.
Actually… that’s a good question. Much as I LOVE U.S.S.A., the majority of it wasn’t as “Barker” as it could have been. This is Barker to the nth degree.
