Saw a couple of the vids for earlier concerts a while ago.
The articulation and expressivity he captures in the Italian language is actually amazing. [shocked]
For a brief instance I thought the bald multi-instrumentalist at the beginning of the video was Z’ev.
This was pretty impressive, and Mike looked like he was having a blast. Good stuff.
My all time favorite Patton moment was a few years back when he was touring with Rahzel. They did some improvised hip-hop track which ended with Patton doing his spastic screams. His screams actually caused a treble speaker to burst!
After this happened, Rahzel and Patton improvised a song about a dead speaker… It was about how the other treble speaker was now lonely and needed some time to grieve, lol. Patton even tried to kill the other treble speaker on stage with another scream hahaha.
There were perhaps 150 people at that show. This is why, no matter what he does with his high profile projects like Faith No More or Peeping Tom or even Tomahawk, Patton will always have my respect. He’s a cool guy who is really into music.
